Account and data deletion

This page explains how to delete your account and how to remove presentation content without deleting your account. For our full privacy practices, see bibleslides.app/privacy.

Delete your account

Deleting your account removes your Firebase Authentication profile so you cannot sign in again with that identity. If you use Google or Apple sign-in, that only affects your BibleSlides account linkage, not your Google or Apple account.

• Website: Sign in at bibleslides.app. Open the account menu, choose My Profile, then Delete my account. Type delete account to confirm. If you use email and password, you must enter your password. If deletion fails, sign out, sign in again, and retry (recent sign-in may be required).
• iOS (BibleSlides tablet app): After signing in, open the menu on the Projects screen and choose Delete account. Confirm as prompted.
• Android (BibleSlides tablet app): After signing in, on the Projects screen tap More in the top bar, then Delete account. Confirm as prompted.

Delete presentation data without deleting your account

On the website, you can delete individual projects (presentations) from your projects list using each project's menu. That removes that content from your account while keeping your login.

Data removed and retention

• Account deletion removes your authentication record. Some data tied to your user ID may remain in backups or logs for a limited period for security and legal compliance before automatic expiry.
• To minimize data left after account deletion, delete projects you no longer need before deleting your account, using the website.
• If you need help removing remaining data or cannot access your account, email contact@bibleslides.app from the address associated with your account. We will respond within a reasonable time and describe what we delete.
