Campus · Room Account

Make this computer
a room presenter

A Campus subscription feature: pair a sanctuary, classroom, or overflow PC once. It stays ready to run slides — teachers send the deck; you present it.

Why

A dedicated computer for the house display

Most churches already have a laptop or mini-PC on HDMI in the sanctuary. With a Campus subscription, the Room Account turns that machine into a signed-in presenter: always on the right account, never in the editor, ready when a teacher sends Sunday’s deck.

  • No USB run on Sunday

The latest cloud project is what you present. Teachers finish slides at home; the room PC already has them when they tap Send to booth.

  • A shared PC that cannot edit

Volunteers stay signed in without using a pastor’s personal account. There is no editor, so nobody accidentally rewrites the sermon from the booth.

  • One computer, every teacher

The room presenter can open decks from anyone on the campus roster — plus Planning Center “up next” when that is connected.

Process

Pair once, present every week

  1. 1

Campus admin creates a Room Account

In Campus admin → Room Account, choose a username and password for the shared computer. This is a view-only operator login — it can present, not edit.

  2. 2

Generate a pairing code (or email a connect link)

On the admin’s computer, create a one-time code or email a connect link to an inbox you can open on the room PC. Codes expire after a few minutes and work once.

  3. 3

    Pair this computer

On the sanctuary or classroom PC, open BibleSlides, choose Make this computer a room presenter, and enter the code. Or open the connect email and tap Connect this PC. The browser stays signed in as the Room Account.

  4. 4

    Teachers send the deck

From the editor, open Launch Slideshow and choose Send to booth. The deck appears in this computer’s inbox. You can also open decks from the room viewer directory or the campus repository.

Sending decks

How files get to this computer

Send to booth. On a teacher’s device, open the presentation, choose Launch Slideshow, then Send to booth. The room PC shows that deck in its inbox — tap it to present. Nothing is copied to a flash drive.

Open from the room viewer. After pairing, this computer lands on the campus viewer: Up next and the teaching directory. Pick a deck and present even if nobody pushed it to the inbox.

Campus repository. Teachers add a presentation to the campus repository from Share. On this PC, open the Repository tab and choose the deck from the shared church library — folders and files already on campus, ready any Sunday without a last-minute send.

Password fallback. If a code expires, sign in on this PC with the Room Account username and password your admin set. That is the same view-only account — still no editor.

Room presenters, Send to booth, the campus viewer, and the campus repository are included with a Campus subscription. Need a code? Ask a campus admin to open Campus admin → Room Account.
