The person behind the product
I'm Jason Wolin. I pastor and teach Scripture at Cypress Bible Church in Cypress, Texas. I am a follower of Jesus Christ. That is the center of who I am.
BibleSlides.app is one long attempt to serve that calling: help preachers put God's Word in front of people without the software getting in the way.
Outside of church and software, I work on a few personal projects—an EV Beetle conversion, flying, home remodeling, maker builds, and family life. Personal projects & hobbies.
Education & training

Why BibleSlides exists
BibleSlides.app is a 15-year attempt to help preachers make beautiful, painless slides that keep everyone's eyes on the text. Not because the slides matter most—because Christ and His Word do. Generic tools were built for business decks. Sunday morning often meant a notes document in one app, a deck in another, verses copied from a third, and a fight with fonts and files that had nothing to do with the passage.
Think of it as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint merged into a single product, then quietly tailored for a Bible teacher and what they actually need on Sunday. Not lyrics software. Not a template pack. The hope is simple: that the room would look at Scripture, not at the tech, and that Jesus would be honored in the teaching of His Word.
Notes and slides in the same document
You write your notes and build the slides in the same document: verses, markup, maps, photos, timelines, the whole teaching deck. Insert a verse where you will actually teach it. Put a map next to the paragraph that needs it. When a point moves, the slide moves with it. There is no second file to keep in sync, and no Saturday-night scramble to copy the outline into a deck that has already drifted.
Scripture is the authority. The document is just the place where notes and slides stay together, save as you work, and sync to every device—so the version you finish is the version you preach. What grew around that is what a Bible teacher actually uses: verse-by-verse reveals across multiple translations, 3D Bible maps, Gospel harmony views, sentence diagrams, licensed Bible text, and themes meant to read in the room without drawing attention to themselves.
Read your notes. Control the slides.
When the document is ready, you read your notes and control the slides from the tablet app. It's on the App Store for iPad, plus Android, Mac, Windows, and Linux. Open the slideshow on the big screen, connect the tablet, and you're teaching: speaker notes stay in your hand, slides go to the room. No USB sticks, no last-minute reformatting, no complicated tech stack.
The aim is that you stop thinking about the software and show up ready to open the Word.
When something comes up mid-message
Teaching is live. You can draw annotations on the slides as you go, and pull up on-the-fly options if a question, a cross-reference, a photo, or a map needs to come up mid-message. The congregation still sees Scripture—not a scramble through another app.
If a feature is here, it is only because it helped keep the room in the text. The tool should serve Christ's Word, then get out of the way.

BibleSlides is for pastors, associate pastors, teaching elders, small-group leaders, and anyone who teaches Scripture regularly and wants the tool to stay small so Christ can be large—whether you preach verse-by-verse, teach topical series, or lead Bible studies.
