An equation slide that is hidden from the catalog for now.
Math Equation is hidden for now. It is not under Slide types and not in More slide types. The editor will not open a new one from the catalog.
What to use instead
A single figure with a label — “70 × 7,” “a day’s wage,” “490” — is an Animated Number or a Text Only slide. A measure from the Bible (a talent, a cubit, a denarius) is Ancient Units, which is a Premium slide, not this hidden equation type.
If an older deck already has one
The type can still be stored in a presentation that was saved while it was available. You do not add a new Math Equation today. Recreate the line as text or as an animated number.
Plans
There is no upgrade that turns Math Equation back on. It is hidden on every plan. Animated Number is on Free. Ancient Units is not.
